YOU want to promote can be a daunting task when first checking into this way of making money online... The number of opportunities are

ONE-OFF SALES VERSUS RESIDUAL EARNINGS:
The first consideration to make is whether you want to promote one-off sales or create long-term, residual income. Avoid one-off sales affiliate programs for most offline companies - traditionally they only pay a 2% - 10% commission. Look for affiliate programs for downloadable products - e-books, software, music, etc. - that pay 25% to 60%. That way, your $200 sale nets you $50 - $120 - far more reasonable for the work you've put into promoting it! With a little work you can skip the affiliate part entirely - buy downloadables with Resell Rights. Most come with their own web page, and you keep 100% of every sale...
But you still get just one sale per customer - then they're gone. So every month you have to find that many new customers just to match last month's income, and even more if you want that income to grow! If you're going to put in all that effort, why not put it into building some long-term, residual income that keeps paying you month after month, year after year? Makes a LOT more sense, doesn't it? Let the new sales you make this month ADD ON to your earnings, not replace them!

• Ongoing Services - Web Site Hosting, Autoresponders, etc.
• Membership Sites - Downloads, Weight-Loss, Associations, etc.
• Sites selling Consumables - Vitamins, Dietary Supplements, etc.
